การวิจัยสร้างสรรค์ทัศนศิลป์เรื่อง พุทธธรรม: จินตภาพในงานศิลปะร่วมสมัย  มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพุทธธรรมและนำเสนอเป็นจินตภาพผ่านงานทัศนศิลป์ของผู้สร้างสรรค์ทั้ง 2 คน คือสุชาติ สุขนา และสาธิต เทศนา โดยมีความบันดาลใจมาจากประสบการณ์ชีวิตและหลักพุทธธรรม  มีวิธีดำเนินงานโดยรวบรวมข้อมูล วิเคราะห์และตีความขอบเขตของแนวเรื่อง แนวความคิด รูปแบบและเทคนิคทางศิลปะ จัดทำภาพร่าง  และสร้างสรรค์เป็นผลงานจริงที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะตัว

ผลการสร้างสรรค์พบว่า  ผู้สร้างสรรค์ทั้ง 2 คน ได้ถ่ายทอดจินตภาพจากพุทธธรรม เป็นผลงานสร้างสรรค์ที่มีเนื้อหาและรูปแบบตามประสบการณ์และความเชี่ยวชาญในกระบวนการสร้างงานเฉพาะตน โดยผลงานของ

สุชาติ สุขนา นำความบันดาลใจจากโลกุตระ  หรือความหลุดพ้นไปจากโลกีย์วิสัย เป็นผลงานประติมากรรมนูนต่ำ ด้วยวิธีแกะสลักไม้ ส่วนผลงานของสาธิต เทศนา นำความบันดาลใจจากสภาวะแห่งความทุกข์ ผสมผสานกับการเฝ้ามองจิตใจเพื่อให้เข้าใจมูลเหตุแห่งการเกิดทุกข์ สร้างสรรค์เป็นผลงานจิตรกรรมสีอะคริลิกบนผ้าใบ  เป็นภาพสัญลักษณ์ที่สื่อถึงสภาะอารมณ์ของความทุกข์

โดยสรุป ผลการสร้างสรรค์ทัศนศิลป์ สามารถตอบสนองแนวคิด จินตนาการ และอารมณ์ความรู้สึกของผู้สร้างสรรค์ ทำให้ผลงานศิลปะสามารถเป็นตัวแทนของการเข้าถึงความดีงามและความจริงของชีวิตและสรรพสิ่งในธรรมชาติได้

Creative visual art research on “Buddhist Dharma: Imagery in Contemporary Art” was aimed to study the Buddhist moral code and present it as an image through the visual arts of two creators, Suchat Sukna and Satit Tesana with inspiration from their life experiences and Buddhist principles.  Analysis and interpretation is a method for collecting data. And it was collected information by analyze and interpret theme, concept and art style and also technique. Then it was built to be a sketch and create to be real works with unique characteristic.

          The results were found that the two creators have conveyed their imagery from the Buddha Dharma. It is a creative work with content and style based on experience and expertise in the process of a unique creating work. Works of Suchat Sukna brings inspiration from Lokutra, or extrication from the world. It is a bas-relief sculpture with wood carving method. On Satit Tesana’s part was taken inspiration from the state of suffering and was combined with mind watching to understand the case of suffering. And then it was created as a work of acrylic painting on canvas. It is also a symbolic image that conveys the emotional state of suffering.

          In summary, the results of this visual arts creations able to respond to the ideas, imaginations and emotions of the creators. These artworks can be represent to the accessibility of the goodness and truth of life and beings in nature.
