ประวัติศาสตร์ความเป็นมาของภูมิภาคอุษาคเนย์หรือดินแดนสุวรรณภูมิได้ก่อให้เกิดแรงบันดาลใจ และนำไปสู่การสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน “จิตรกรรมไทยร่วมสมัย” ในชื่อชุด “จิตรกรรมสุวรรณภูมิ” ที่มีความมุ่งหมายและวัตถุประสงค์ของการสร้างสรรค์ที่ต้องการสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความงดงามของสังคม และวัฒนธรรม สภาพความเป็นอยู่ของผู้คน พัฒนาการและการเปลี่ยนแปลงของบ้านเมืองหรือชุมชนซึ่งมีขอบเขตของเนื้อหาผู้สร้างสรรค์ได้พยายามเสนอภาพทางความคิดในมิติเชิงบวกของสภาพความเป็นอยู่ของบ้านเมืองหรือชุมชนที่เต็มไปด้วยความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของสังคมและผู้คนตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงยุคปัจจุบัน

ผลงานชุดจิตรกรรมสุวรรณภูมิ มีลักษณะเป็นงานจิตรกรรมไทยร่วมสมัยแบบ 2 มิติ โดยใช้เทคนิคการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานด้วยกระบวนการสีอะคริลิคบนผ้าใบ ผู้สร้างสรรค์ได้ใช้ลักษณะของแผนที่ แผนผังทั้งแบบโบราณ และแบบสมัยใหม่มาประยุกต์ใช้ รวมทั้งการใช้รูปแบบการเขียนภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนังตามแบบฉบับโบราณมาปรับประยุกต์ในการสร้างสรรค์จิตรกรรมชุดจิตรกรรมสุวรรณภูมินั้นเปรียบเสมือนการสร้างภาษาภาพในเชิงอุดมคติที่เกิดจากการศึกษาค้นคว้าความเป็นในมิติต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในแอ่งอารยธรรมสุวรรณภูมิ แล้วนำไปสู่การสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน สะท้อนผ่านภาษาภาพ ซึ่งได้สร้างพื้นที่ของ การนำเสนอ และการใช้สัญลักษณ์ทั้งที่มีอยู่แต่เดิม และที่สร้างขึ้นมาใหม่ ผ่านการจัดการ การตัดทอน การก่อประกอบรูปร่าง     จนเกิดเป็นผลงานศิลปะเพื่อให้เห็นถึงความงดงาม ความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของดินแดนสุวรรณภูมิ การเปลี่ยนแปลง และพัฒนาการของสภาพสังคม เป็นภาษาภาพในเชิงอุดมคติที่ผู้สร้างสรรค์ได้ใช้นำเสนอให้ผู้ชมได้เห็นถึงความยิ่งใหญ่ ความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของภูมิภาคอุษาคเนย์หรือดินแดนสุวรรณภูมิ

The history of the region of South East Asia or the region of Suvarnabhumi has inspired and lead to creativity.  "Contemporary Thai Painting" in the name of "Suvarnabhumi Painting" that has the purpose and purpose of creation is to reflect the beauty of society and culture, the living conditions of people, and development and changing of the country or community which has scope of content that the creator have been trying to express imagery positive thinking of living conditions or community where is full of the prosperity of society and people from the past to the present.

              "Suvarnabhumi Painting" is contemporary Thai painting in 2D which using the acrylic paints process on the canvas.  The creators used the map style and take an ancient map and modern to apply in works. Including the use of traditional mural painting to adapt the application used to create works. The creation of Suvarnabhumi painting is like creating an ideal visual language from the study of the dimensions of the Suvarnabhumi civilization. Then lead to creative work by reflection through visual language.  It has created a presentation area.  And the use of symbols that were originally and rebuilt through manipulation, truncation, shaping, it is a work of art to see the beauty, the prosperity of Suvarnabhumi, the changing and the development of social conditions is an Idealism (Imagination) language which the creators used to show the audience the greatness, the prosperity of Southeast Asia or Suvarnabhumi.
